Thoughts on Yamaha XT 250 vs. Kawasaki Super Sherpa?

After pondering my options, I was thinking that the Yamaha XT 250 would be right on point. But now the announcement that the Kawasaki Super Sherpa was being released in April has gotten me thinking. I have never ridden an XT 250, but did ride a friend's Sherpa for a while back in the 90's. It was a great bike and I had a lot of fun with it.
